Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

The long awaited reviews are coming up. Finally I have the time to put something together. After all the school's over, and I have more time for reading books! Yay! Anyway ~ I was waiting for this book for over half a year and when it finally arrived I didn't do anything else but read it. (don't count the overjoyed feeling when it was in my hands >.<)

It was the best book I've read from Maas so far and I loved it to bits. I don't think there is a thing I would mark as a  negative. The narrative was perfect, the whole story, oh my. I was on a roller coaster of emotions! Like, at first I thought I hated Rhys, but the more I read the book the more I'm starting to hate Tamlin instead! Mass did a great job of convincing me, making me fall in love with Tam in the first book and then. BAM! Everything he did from the very beginning of the book had me screaming inside.

Even though the first book was more engaging, I immersed myself right into it. This one, however, has the action scenes divided into more pages and has more descriptions of Feyre's thoughts. Which I think was another bit that made the book more appealing. Definitely worth more then five stars if it was possible.

I was pushing the time when I'll finish the book till the very end, not wanting it to end. Especially with what was at the end! Had me read it over again. Also I can't wait for the Empire of Storms to come out!

Wrap up #2 - February

February was the reading slump month I could say. I couldn't read more than few pages of Sherlock despite him being one of my favourites. Must be because that chunk of a book looks daunting. It has all of Doyle's works in it! Almost a 1000 paged beasts.

Then The TBR book, Pride and Prejudice, that one is slow paced and you need to read in between the text and it's tireing.

Yet I have picked up the Throne of glass again. And I'm halfway done through it so I think I'm back on the track. March should be better hopefully. Right after I go through the competition, then the leaving exam and then few days off on the other side of my country.

One word...one quiestion to be excact WHY?! FOR GOD'S SAKE WHYY? I won't be getting over this book so soon. Damn it Maas...just why would you do that?! Making me cry and gosh....

The book..the story..I can't speak.  IT'S JUST TOO GOOD!...*sniffs* I know I started reading the book at the start of the January, but when I got to the last one of the short stories I didn't want to finish the book. THis is basically me! Because I have some bad feeling something will happen and it did! No...I can't I was CRYING god damn I never cry when I read books.

But to get to the point of review...okay no more emotions. I could say this was written after the firs few books, because it is so much better. I mean...is there anything to be said? Everyhing was perfect and and *cries* I can't i'm sorry. The characters. Nicely written. I just can't believe what she did to Caelena! At least I understand her better. Damn...

A Court of Thorns and Roses ~ review

Format: Paperback | 432 pages
Dimensions: 128 x 196 x 32mm | 300g
Publication date: 05 Jul 2015

Feyre's survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill - the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price. Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre's presence at the court is closely guarded, and as she begins to learn why, her feelings for him turn from hostility to passion and the faerie lands become an even more dangerous place. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever. The start of a sensational romantic fantasy trilogy by the bestselling author of the Throne of Glass series.

I have to thank Booktubers for showing me this author. It's one of the best authors I have read so far. The storyline has a real catch to it, all the gods and traditions. She worked up hard to make sure that every detail is there.
The characters are so good! God I fell in love with Tamlin with the first mention of being fairie and not that beast. The flaws Feyre has and then catching up to her in the end! If I could I would not put the book down.

I have to say tho, I'm not much of a fan of first person POV, but...this book. This book proved me wrong! I didn't even mind the I much. I didn't concentrate on the point of view because there just wasn't enough space for it. You just had to concentrate on the plot. And the development of the characters the way they fell in love and then the action. SPEECHLESS! I'm literally speechless about this book. The only thing I can say about it : GO and BUY it!

REVIEW

This book is a freaking masterpiece! I bought only the first one because I didn't know the series and didn't want to invest bad, but now I regret not buying the rest! Blamey! I have no money either now, have to wait month. And then the waiting time for it to arrive, why we don't have such great books here in Slovakia, huh?
Anyway I'm going off the topic. The way it's written it keeps your mind focusing only on the story. Lot's of things are happening and you make your theories and then she ruins it all! with a twist! I couldn't put down the book, which haven't happened to me in years. so this deserves  straight 6/5 rating. No way I won't be buying the other four books.
